Triund is a considerable spot where there is green grass. One can see the persevering Dhauladhar go. The edge rise is some place in the scope of 2,810 and 2,875 meters. The nearest rail head of extensive check is at Pathankot (around 85 km). Gaggal Airport (which is generally called Kangra Airport) to Gaggal market and turn left for Dharamsala no convincing motivation to go Kangra. And after that from Dharamshala to Mcleod Ganj. Starting there trek will begin from Dharamkot. There is another trek which goes by Bhagsu course and Shiva Cafe, anyway this trek is troublesome and testing. So trek from Dharamkot is favored.
Point of view of Triund Campsite in the midst of night at a stature of approximately 2800 m
Triund Campsite is a base camp and acclimatization point for trekkers climbing the Inderahara point in the Mt. Dhauladhar. For trekkers the point of view of the night sky from Triund is a sufficient inspiration to set up a compact safe house here through the evening. The length of the trek makes it capable for a week’s end.
Triund is removed in January and February on account of generous snowfall. The best time for the trekking is from March till May in the underlying fragment of the year and from September till December in the second half of the year.
