Travel from Delhi to three sacred Himalayan shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath—on a carefully coordinated eight-night pilgrimage. The programme combines transport, accommodation, selected meals and practical route guidance for couples, families and private groups.
This Teen Dham Yatra visits Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath while omitting Kedarnath. The route is suitable for pilgrims who want to seek blessings at the shrines dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga and Lord Vishnu without undertaking the longer Kedarnath trek.
TravelTrek can customise the vehicle, accommodation and meal plan according to the travel date, passengers, room requirements and budget. Private cars, Tempo Travellers, minibuses and larger group vehicles can be proposed subject to route suitability and availability.
Although Kedarnath is not included, this is still a demanding mountain journey. Day 6, Day 7 and Day 8 include significant driving distances, while Day 3 involves an approximately 12 km return trek to Yamunotri.
Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and reached from Janki Chatti by an approximately 6 km one-way trek or authorised pony, palki or doli service.
Dedicated to Goddess Ganga and traditionally associated with her descent to earth. The temple is reached by road through Harsil valley.
A revered Vishnu temple beside the Alaknanda River in Chamoli district and the final shrine in this nine-day pilgrimage.
Suitable for two to five travellers, depending on passenger count, luggage and the confirmed vehicle.
A practical option for families and private groups who want a dedicated vehicle throughout the journey.
May be proposed for groups seeking upgraded seating, subject to vehicle availability and mountain-route suitability.
Available for larger groups, subject to road permissions, parking access and vehicle restrictions on the operating route.
AC may be available on Delhi and plains sectors but may not operate continuously on steep mountain roads. Confirm vehicle capacity using both passenger numbers and actual luggage.
Meet the driver at the confirmed Delhi pickup point and travel towards Haridwar. Check in at the hotel and rest after arrival.
Attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri when traffic, arrival time and crowd arrangements permit. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.
Travellers may take an optional ritual bath at a designated Haridwar ghat before breakfast, following local safety instructions. Leave for Barkot through the Dehradun and Mussoorie sector.
A short Kempty Falls stop may be included if traffic, parking and daylight permit. Continue to Barkot, check in at the hotel and rest before the Yamunotri excursion.
Leave early and drive through Hanuman Chatti to Janki Chatti, the final motorable point. Begin the approximately 6 km ascent to Yamunotri.
Walking, pony, palki and doli options are separately available. Visit Yamunotri Temple, Divya Shila and the sacred hot-spring area according to current access and safety instructions.
Descend to Janki Chatti, meet the driver at the confirmed point and return to Barkot for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave Barkot and drive towards Uttarkashi, a sacred town beside the Bhagirathi River.
Check in at the hotel. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the nearby Shakti Temple after arrival if opening hours and available time permit.
Depart early and travel through Gangnani, Dharali and Harsil towards Gangotri. The upper Bhagirathi valley offers dramatic forest and mountain scenery.
Proceed for Gangotri Temple darshan. Spend time beside the Bhagirathi River, but enter the water only in permitted areas and follow local guidance because the water is extremely cold and the current can be dangerous.
Return through Harsil to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Leave early for the mountain journey towards Rudraprayag. The actual route can vary according to weather, traffic and official road instructions.
On arrival, check in at the hotel. Rudraprayag stands at the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Have dinner and rest.
After an early breakfast, continue through Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag and Joshimath towards Badrinath. Brief stops depend on traffic, daylight and the road schedule.
A Joshimath or Narsingh Temple visit is possible only when opening hours and arrival time permit. Check in near Badrinath, Pandukeshwar or Joshimath.
Proceed for Badrinath darshan or evening aarti according to the actual arrival time and current temple arrangements.
Begin before dawn. Visit Badrinath Temple and Tapt Kund only if required and in accordance with local safety instructions. A brief Mana village visit may include Vyas Gufa or Bhim Pul when the group is ready early and road access permits.
It is not realistic to cover Mana, Mata Murti Temple, Charanpaduka and every nearby attraction before the long journey to Haridwar. Charanpaduka requires additional walking and is excluded from this compact day.
Continue through Joshimath and the Alaknanda valley towards Haridwar. Expect a late arrival and check in at the hotel for the night.
After breakfast and a suitable rest following the previous day’s long drive, check out and travel to Delhi.
The tour concludes at the confirmed hotel, airport or railway-station drop-off point, subject to vehicle accessibility and traffic.
