Day 1
Haridwar → Devprayag → Rudraprayag → Guptkashi → Sitapur/Sonprayag
Begin the Do Dham Journey
Meet the driver at the confirmed Haridwar pickup point and travel through Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag towards the Kedarnath valley. The mountain route follows the Alaknanda and Mandakini river systems.
If daylight and opening hours permit, visit the Ardhanarishwar or Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. Continue to the confirmed hotel in Sitapur, Sonprayag or the Guptkashi sector for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2
Sonprayag → Gaurikund → Kedarnath → Gaurikund → Sitapur/Sonprayag
Kedarnath Darshan and Same-Day Return
Leave before dawn and use the authorised local shuttle between Sonprayag and Gaurikund. Private tour vehicles are normally unable to continue beyond the designated point. From Gaurikund, begin the approximately 16 km ascent to Kedarnath.
Walking the route usually takes several hours each way. Pony and palki services are separately booked and subject to availability and official rates. Pilgrims using a confirmed helicopter shuttle must follow the operator’s helipad, reporting, baggage and weight instructions.
After darshan, descend to Gaurikund and return by authorised local transport. Continue to the confirmed hotel in the Sitapur, Sonprayag or Guptkashi sector for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Sitapur/Sonprayag → Rudraprayag → Karnaprayag → Joshimath → Badrinath
Long Drive to Badrinath Dham
After an early breakfast, travel from the Kedarnath valley towards Badrinath. The route passes Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag and Joshimath before entering the final mountain sector.
This is a long driving day. On arrival, check in at the confirmed hotel near Badrinath, Pandukeshwar or Joshimath. Evening Badrinath darshan or aarti is possible only if the vehicle reaches in time and current temple arrangements permit.
Day 4
Badrinath → Joshimath → Karnaprayag → Rudraprayag
Badrinath Darshan and Return to Rudraprayag
Visit Badrinath Temple early if darshan was not completed the previous evening. Pilgrims who wish to visit Tapt Kund should follow official health and access instructions.
If the group is ready on time and local access permits, make a short visit to Mana village. Begin the return journey through Joshimath and the Alaknanda valley. Brief stops near Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag or Karnaprayag depend on traffic, daylight and the final route.
Reach Rudraprayag and check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5
Rudraprayag → Devprayag → Rishikesh → Haridwar
Return to Haridwar
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Haridwar. Stop at Devprayag when road conditions and the day’s schedule permit to view the sacred confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers.
Continue through Rishikesh and conclude the tour at the agreed hotel, railway station or another accessible Haridwar drop-off point. A Dehradun or airport drop can be quoted separately.
