Visit Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath on a carefully coordinated private-helicopter pilgrimage from Dehradun. The programme combines confirmed helicopter sectors, local ground movements, best-available stays and on-ground assistance, subject to weather and aviation approvals.
The Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra covers four sacred Himalayan shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. A private-helicopter programme reduces long road journeys, but it still requires careful coordination of aircraft movements, local transfers, temple access, passenger weight and weather.
This 4-night/5-day itinerary begins and ends at Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun. Guests must arrive in Dehradun one day before the first scheduled flight. An optional Dehradun pre-night with airport transfer and briefing can be added, creating a 5-night/6-day package.
Every sector remains subject to visibility, weather, aircraft serviceability, helipad permission, payload, air-traffic instructions and local administration. Flight times are indicative and may change without prior notice.
Remote pilgrimage towns do not have Hyatt hotels at every Dham. Premium or best-available accommodation is confirmed separately at each location.
Assisted or priority access is included only when officially authorised and confirmed. No operator can guarantee unrestricted “VIP darshan”.
The private charter may connect with an approved Kedarnath shuttle helicopter because high-altitude operations and helipad rules can require a different aircraft.
Helicopter baggage is strictly limited. The confirmed allowance depends on the aircraft, passenger payload and operating company.
The four shrines opened on different dates in 2026. An opening date does not automatically guarantee that every helicopter operator or helipad will begin service on the same day.

The shrine of Goddess Yamuna is approached from Kharsali and Janki Chatti by road followed by walking, pony or palki arrangements.
Fly to Harsil and continue by road to Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, subject to convoy, traffic and temple timings.
Reach the Kedarnath sector through Guptkashi, Phata or Sirsi and connect with an approved high-altitude shuttle movement when required.
Visit the sacred Vishnu temple in Badrinath and stay in the town's best available confirmed premium accommodation.
The order of the Dhams and overnight locations may be changed by the aviation operator for weather, operational or regulatory reasons. The following is the planned sequence, not a guaranteed minute-by-minute flight schedule.
Report at Sahastradhara Helipad at the time advised during the pre-flight briefing. Complete passenger weighing, baggage checks and security procedures, then fly towards Kharsali.
Continue by authorised local vehicle towards Janki Chatti. Reach Yamunotri by the confirmed walking, pony or palki arrangement. After darshan, return to Kharsali and check in. The exact assistance and transport included must be stated in the final voucher.
Night stay: Best-available premium cottage or hotel in Kharsali
Fly from Kharsali towards Harsil according to the day's aviation schedule. Continue by road to Gangotri Temple for darshan. Driving time and access depend on traffic controls, weather and local administration.
Return to Harsil after the temple visit. Enjoy the mountain setting and rest at the confirmed property.
Night stay: Premium or best-available hotel in Harsil
Fly to the confirmed Kedarnath valley helipad. Transfer to the authorised shuttle helicopter when required and proceed to the Kedarnath helipad.
Walk from the helipad to the temple area and complete darshan according to temple and local-administration arrangements. Return by shuttle movement and transfer to the hotel. Weather delays may move the Kedarnath attempt to the next available operational window.
Night stay: Premium or best-available hotel near Guptkashi, Phata or Sirsi
Fly to the Badrinath helipad when weather and clearances permit. Transfer to the hotel and visit Badrinath Temple according to the available darshan slot.
A short local visit may be arranged when time, weather, road access and guest fitness permit. No additional sightseeing should interfere with the confirmed aviation schedule.
Night stay: Sarovar Portico or similar best-available property in Badrinath
Complete any scheduled morning temple visit, then transfer to the helipad and fly to Sahastradhara. After landing procedures and baggage collection, continue to the confirmed Dehradun drop point.
Do not book a tight onward flight or train on the same day. Mountain aviation is weather-dependent, and an additional Dehradun night is strongly recommended.
Best-available premium cottage or hotel serving the Yamunotri sector.
Harsil Retreat or a similar confirmed best-available property.
Premium or best-available hotel near Guptkashi, Phata or Sirsi.
Sarovar Portico or a similar property, strictly subject to availability.
Hyatt Regency Dehradun or a similar premium hotel may be added before Day 1 with airport or railway transfer and a passenger briefing. Adding this stay changes the total duration to 5 nights/6 days.
*This is an indicative promotional price, not a guaranteed government fare. It may change according to travel date, aircraft, minimum passenger requirement, passenger weights, taxes, permits, hotel category and confirmed service inclusions.
Publish this price only when TravelTrek holds a current written supplier quotation with validity dates. Otherwise replace it with “Price on Request”.
Helicopter travel reduces road time but does not remove altitude exposure or walking. Kedarnath and the other Dhams involve uneven surfaces, steps, cold weather and reduced oxygen. Passengers must disclose mobility limitations and relevant medical conditions before payment.
Flight sectors, local transfers, hotels and passenger documents are coordinated through one travel contact.
Premium stays and darshan assistance are described according to actual availability rather than impossible all-Hyatt or guaranteed-VIP promises.
Guests receive baggage, weight, reporting, health and weather guidance before reaching the helipad.
