Chardham Yatra from Dehradun by Private Helicopter
The Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra covers four sacred Himalayan shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. A private-helicopter programme reduces long road journeys, but it still requires careful coordination of aircraft movements, local transfers, temple access, passenger weight and weather.
This 4-night/5-day itinerary begins and ends at Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun. Guests must arrive in Dehradun one day before the first scheduled flight. An optional Dehradun pre-night with airport transfer and briefing can be added, creating a 5-night/6-day package.

Assisted or priority access is included only when officially authorised and confirmed. No operator can guarantee unrestricted “VIP darshan”.
Aircraft Changes
The private charter may connect with an approved Kedarnath shuttle helicopter because high-altitude operations and helipad rules can require a different aircraft.
Limited Baggage
Helicopter baggage is strictly limited. The confirmed allowance depends on the aircraft, passenger payload and operating company.

The shrine of Goddess Yamuna is approached from Kharsali and Janki Chatti by road followed by walking, pony or palki arrangements.
Gangotri
Fly to Harsil and continue by road to Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, subject to convoy, traffic and temple timings.
Kedarnath
Reach the Kedarnath sector through Guptkashi, Phata or Sirsi and connect with an approved high-altitude shuttle movement when required.
Badrinath
Visit the sacred Vishnu temple in Badrinath and stay in the town's best available confirmed premium accommodation.
4-Night/5-Day Private Helicopter Itinerary
The order of the Dhams and overnight locations may be changed by the aviation operator for weather, operational or regulatory reasons. The following is the planned sequence, not a guaranteed minute-by-minute flight schedule.
Day 01
Dehradun to Kharsali and Yamunotri
Report at Sahastradhara Helipad at the time advised during the pre-flight briefing. Complete passenger weighing, baggage checks and security procedures, then fly towards Kharsali.
Continue by authorised local vehicle towards Janki Chatti. Reach Yamunotri by the confirmed walking, pony or palki arrangement. After darshan, return to Kharsali and check in. The exact assistance and transport included must be stated in the final voucher.
Night stay: Best-available premium cottage or hotel in Kharsali
Day 02
Kharsali to Harsil and Gangotri
Fly from Kharsali towards Harsil according to the day's aviation schedule. Continue by road to Gangotri Temple for darshan. Driving time and access depend on traffic controls, weather and local administration.
Return to Harsil after the temple visit. Enjoy the mountain setting and rest at the confirmed property.
Night stay: Premium or best-available hotel in Harsil
Day 03
Harsil to Guptkashi, Phata or Sirsi and Kedarnath
Fly to the confirmed Kedarnath valley helipad. Transfer to the authorised shuttle helicopter when required and proceed to the Kedarnath helipad.
Walk from the helipad to the temple area and complete darshan according to temple and local-administration arrangements. Return by shuttle movement and transfer to the hotel. Weather delays may move the Kedarnath attempt to the next available operational window.

Day 04
Kedarnath Valley to Badrinath
Fly to the Badrinath helipad when weather and clearances permit. Transfer to the hotel and visit Badrinath Temple according to the available darshan slot.
A short local visit may be arranged when time, weather, road access and guest fitness permit. No additional sightseeing should interfere with the confirmed aviation schedule.

Day 05
Badrinath to Dehradun
Complete any scheduled morning temple visit, then transfer to the helipad and fly to Sahastradhara. After landing procedures and baggage collection, continue to the confirmed Dehradun drop point.
Do not book a tight onward flight or train on the same day. Mountain aviation is weather-dependent, and an additional Dehradun night is strongly recommended.

- A booking is confirmed only after the required advance is received and the aviation operator issues written aircraft and sector confirmation.
- The advance, balance, price validity and payment deadlines are those shown in the final quotation. Verbal assurances do not replace written terms.
- Passenger names, ages, identification details, body weights and contact numbers must be submitted by the stated deadline.
- Flight timings, routes, Dham order, helipads and aircraft may change for safety, weather, payload, permissions or operational reasons.
- If a sector cannot operate, the aviation company's cancellation, rescheduling, credit and refund policy will apply. A full package refund is not automatic.
- Hotel nights, meals, vehicles or other services already used or held may remain non-refundable even when a flight is disrupted.
- Additional hotel, transport, meals, charter hours or repositioning caused by weather or operational disruption are payable unless the written package says otherwise.
- Cancellation by a passenger is subject to the aircraft charter, hotel, ground supplier and operator cancellation schedule provided with the quotation.
