Begin a sacred journey from Delhi to three revered Himalayan shrines—Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. This eight-night programme combines road transport, pilgrimage accommodation, selected meals and practical route planning for families and private groups.
Uttarakhand is renowned for the Char Dham Yatra. The Teen Dham route included in this package visits Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath while omitting Yamunotri. It is suitable for travellers who want to experience three major shrines within a compact nine-day journey from Delhi.
Gangotri is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and stands beside the Bhagirathi River. Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and stands beside the Alaknanda River.
TravelTrek can customise the vehicle, accommodation, meals and Kedarnath access arrangements according to the travel date, group size, room requirements and budget. The programme contains several long driving days and should be reviewed carefully for children, senior pilgrims and travellers with medical concerns.
Dedicated to Goddess Ganga and reached by a scenic motorable road through Uttarkashi, Harsil and the upper Bhagirathi valley.
A revered Shiva temple reached from Gaurikund by an approximately 16 km one-way trek or an authorised pony, palki or helicopter alternative.
A sacred Vishnu temple in the upper Alaknanda valley, accessible by a motorable mountain road through Joshimath.
Shared or group transport with simple dharamshala or budget-hotel accommodation and a confirmed vegetarian meal plan.
A dedicated car, SUV or Tempo Traveller with rooms and services planned around the family’s requirements.
A comfortable vehicle and improved hotels where suitable accommodation is available along the mountain route.
AC vehicles may be offered for the Delhi and plains sectors, but air conditioning may not operate continuously on steep mountain roads. A local guide is included only when specifically written in the final quotation.
Seasonal benefits or discounts apply only when confirmed in a dated written offer with clear eligibility and validity conditions.
Meet the driver at the confirmed Delhi pickup point and begin the road journey to Haridwar. Check in at the hotel and rest after arrival.
Attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri when traffic, arrival time and crowd arrangements permit. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, travel through Rishikesh, Chamba and Dharasu towards Uttarkashi, a pilgrimage town beside the Bhagirathi River.
On arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the nearby Shakti Temple if opening hours and available daylight permit. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.
Depart early and travel through Gangnani, Dharali and Harsil towards Gangotri. Scenic stops depend on traffic, weather and temple timings.
Proceed for Gangotri Temple darshan and spend time beside the Bhagirathi River. The water is extremely cold and the current can be dangerous, so perform personal rituals only in permitted areas and follow local safety instructions.
Return to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Leave early for the long mountain journey to Guptkashi. The official Uttarkashi–Kedarnath route is extensive, and the exact road may change according to weather, traffic and district instructions.
A brief Tehri-sector viewpoint stop may be possible when the operating route and daylight permit. On arrival in Guptkashi, check in at the hotel.
Vishwanath or Ardhanarishwar Temple can be visited only if the group reaches before closing time. Have dinner and rest.
Leave before dawn and drive to Sonprayag. Use the authorised local shuttle to Gaurikund because private tour vehicles normally remain at or before the designated Sonprayag point.
Begin the approximately 16 km ascent to Kedarnath. Walking, pony and palki options are available under separate local arrangements. Helicopter passengers require a separately confirmed helipad, flight and hotel plan.
On arrival, check in at the confirmed basic accommodation. Proceed for Kedarnath darshan or evening aarti according to temple timing and crowd arrangements.
Visit Kedarnath Temple, Bhairavnath Temple or Shankaracharya Samadhi early if required and conditions permit. Check out and begin the approximately 16 km descent.
From Gaurikund, use the authorised local shuttle to Sonprayag. Meet the driver at the clearly confirmed meeting point and return to the hotel in the Guptkashi, Sitapur or Sersi sector.
Triyuginarayan Temple is optional. It is generally unsuitable after a full walking descent unless the group finishes early and road access, daylight and traveller energy permit.
After an early breakfast, travel towards Badrinath. The operating route may pass the Chopta or Rudraprayag sector depending on road conditions and the confirmed vehicle plan.
Continue through Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag and Joshimath. A visit to Narsingh Temple is possible only when opening hours, parking and arrival time permit.
Check in near Badrinath, Pandukeshwar or Joshimath. Evening darshan, Tapt Kund and aarti remain subject to actual arrival and current temple arrangements.
Visit Badrinath Temple early if darshan was not completed the previous evening. A short Mana village visit may include Vyas Gufa or Bhim Pul when local access and available time permit.
Mana is currently promoted as India’s first village. Begin the return drive through Joshimath and the Alaknanda valley. Brief stops near Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag or Karnaprayag depend on traffic and daylight.
Reach Rudraprayag and check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Leave early for the long final journey. A Maa Dhari Devi Temple stop may be included before Srinagar when opening hours, parking and the day’s schedule permit. Continue through Devprayag towards Rishikesh.
Take a short meal or riverfront break in Rishikesh, then continue to Delhi. Lakshman Jhula access and local bridge arrangements may change, so no crossing or detailed sightseeing is guaranteed.
Attending the evening Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh would result in a very late Delhi arrival. Families wanting the aarti should add a Rishikesh night or accept the revised timing in writing.
Approximately 16 km each way from Gaurikund. Fitness preparation, a very early start and suitable footwear are essential.
Separately operated under local arrangements and subject to official rates, route conditions and availability.
May be arranged separately for pilgrims requiring assistance. Advance planning is advisable during busy periods.
May operate from authorised helipads such as Phata, Sirsi and Guptkashi, subject to weather and operator conditions.
Registration is compulsory for each traveller. Select the correct dates for Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath and enter accurate identity and travel information.
Complete registration through the official Uttarakhand Tourist Care portal. Carry valid original identification and printed and digital copies of the registration certificate.
Paid temple puja or aarti services are separate unless expressly included. Use the official temple committee portal for authorised Kedarnath and Badrinath services.
The price depends on travel dates, passengers, vehicle, hotel category, room occupancy, meals and the method used to reach Kedarnath. Group departures, private family tours and upgraded packages have different operating costs.
Request a written quotation with the exact vehicle, hotel locations, room sharing, meals, payment schedule and cancellation policy. Helicopter, pony and palki costs should not be assumed to be included.
All three shrines involve high-altitude travel. Seek suitable medical advice for existing health or mobility concerns.
