Explore this 11.9-kilometer loop trail near Mehama, Oregon. It takes an average of 3 hours and 22 minutes to finish this moderately difficult route. Because this is a popular hiking region, you will most likely come across other people while exploring. Dogs are not permitted on this trail, so leave them at home. The Silver Falls day-use parking permit is $5 and may be acquired at several of the trailheads and booths.

Silver Falls State Park, located less than an hour from Salem, is a natural marvel. The Trail of Ten Falls is a popular route for seeing all of the falls and is just moderately tough.

The Canyon Trail and the Rim Trail are combined to form the route. You will begin at the South Falls Lodge Trailhead. The loop can be completed in either way, however the mapped route on this page is clockwise. There are also other alternate trailheads, some of which are free of charge.

South Falls, Lower South Falls, Lower North Falls, Double Falls, Drake Falls, Middle North Falls, Twin Falls, North Falls, Upper North Falls, and Winter Falls will be passed in the following order if traveling clockwise: South Falls, Lower South Falls, Lower North Falls, Double Falls, Drake Falls, Middle North Falls, Twin Falls, North Falls, Upper North Falls, and Winter Falls. The falls range in height from 27 to 178 feet, and four of them are walkable. There are numerous benches along the trail, and it is exceedingly well maintained.

There is no considerable elevation gain, and the distance can be reduced if necessary. This route is suitable for the entire family. If you want to view all of the falls, your path may be longer than what's shown here./p>
