Explore the 6.4-kilometer out-and-back trek near Nederland, Colorado. It takes an average of 2 hours and 1 minute to finish this moderately difficult route. Because this is a popular place for traveling, camping, and fishing, you'll almost certainly run into other people while exploring. The route is available all year and is a great place to come at any time. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash.

This fantastic trail is ideal for a day excursion with a spectacular destination. Lost Lake is a lovely spot for a picnic and to take in the landscape and fauna of the area. Keep a look out for moose, which are frequently spotted along this trail! This trail can retain snow well into the summer. Traction equipment may be used. The route must be completed.

This route begins near the small community of Eldora, west of Nederland, at the Hessie Trailhead off County Road 130 and leads to the Devil's Thumb Trail. After traveling for a while on this trail, you'll come to a trail intersection. The trail straight ahead follows Middle Boulder Creek until it reaches King Lake. Stay left and follow the Devil's Thumb Bypass to reach the Lost Lake Trail.
