Enjoy this 5.5-kilometer out-and-back near Boulder, Colorado. Generally regarded as a difficult route. This is a popular hiking, snowshoeing, and running region, so you'll almost certainly stumble into other people while exploring.

The optimum months to visit this trail are from March through October. Dogs are welcome and can roam freely in some locations. The Bluebell-Baird Trail leads to the Bluebell Shelter.

You'll enter a lovely pine forest after crossing a flowery meadow. Start looking for Royal Arch Trail signage as a number of other trails branch out. When you reach the flagstone staircase, you'll know you're on the correct track. The ascent to Sentinel Pass accounts for the majority of the height increase on this route. You'll be about a half-mile away from the Royal Arch after you reach this location.

Royal Arch is a popular destination among residents. However, in order to reach this spectacular granite feature, you must first climb several stairs to the top! You'll get wonderful views of the jagged, craggy Flatirons and the broad valley of Boulder along the trip.
